NDWBB: Seven Senior Statistics

This year’s women’s basketball senior class of Natalie Achonwa, Kayla McBride and Ariel Braker have had phenomenal career’s donning the Irish uniform. As their time with the Notre Dame winds down, let’s go back and look at “Seven Scintillating Senior Statistics.”




The trio has a 126-14 (.900) overall record over the past four years. The 126 wins is four shy of tying the record held by last year’s senior class of Skylar Diggins and Kaila Turner for most wins by one class in program history.



The trio has played in front of 8,000 fans or more at Purcell Pavilion 59 (of 62) times in their career.



The trio has outscored their opponents by 3,295 points in their career, defeating their opponents by an average of 23.5 points per game.



The trio accounts for three of the program’s five NCAA Final Four appearances. Making it to the National Semifinal round in 2011, 2012 and 2013.



The trio has combined to score in double figures on 169 occasions (McBride 88, Achonwa 71, Braker 10).



The trio has played in a combined 371 games during their time with Notre Dame.



The trio has been on the floor for 7,727 total minutes while donning the Irish jersey.
