Before the #20 Fighting Irish resume BIG EAST play this evening in New York City, they returned to Madison Square Garden early this afternoon for a final shootaround in preparation for St. John’s.
It’s a key game for Notre Dame, as the team looks to avoid dropping a second straight conference game. In recent memory, the Irish have struggled shooting the ball at the Garden, so they will seek to get out to a good start offensively tonight.
Prior to Saturday’s loss against Connecticut, Notre Dame had won 12 straight contests and shot at least 50% from the field in five straight games.
The game against the Red Storm begins at 7 pm ET and will be broadcast on ESPN2. Mike Patrick and Bob Knight will be on the call. Jack Nolan and Jordan Cornette will broadcast the action for the Notre Dame Basketball Radio Network, which can also be heard on UND.com.
