Senior point guard Skylar Diggins recently sat down with CBS 2 Chicago News anchor Kate Sullivan (’98) at Fighting Irish Digital Media’s studio in the Joyce Center. Sullivan spoke to Skylar about growing up in South Bend, the “Notre Dame family,” Lil Wayne, and academics, among several other topics.

I’m so proud of you Skylar. I remember watching you play basketball in the front driveway at Sam and Steve’s house saying “she’s kicking everyone’s butt including the boys”. I knew you would go places just never imagined you would do it this big and this well. Keep it up. Your biggest fans are proud of the beautiful young lady you have become.
