If you read our football blog, you may have seen our recent Twitter reaction blog post, inspired by the weekly recap put together by Irish Elvis of Her Loyal Sons.
Though HLS’s recaps normally stick to football, about halfway through last night’s game, @IrishElvis began issuing a lot of “gold stars” on Twitter. You can expect an in-depth summary coming from him in the next day or two, but for me, Notre Dame’s victory over Kentucky was too much fun to not sum up in my own series of tweets.
Pre-Game Hype: Purcell was on fire last night. One of the best crowds I’ve seen during my time at Notre Dame. The combination of the top-ranked football team coming out in full force, the blackout promotion and the matchup with the defending champions made for a pretty special atmosphere.
Uni’s in the locker. It’s about that time! #blackout Game vs Kentucky #gametime instagr.am/p/SoSx8nPqNM/
